　　One is the amount of humidification. This is the most important parameter of a humidifier. Some companies, in order to cater to consumers' pursuit of large humidification amounts, arbitrarily increase the humidification amount. Therefore, the standard strictly stipulates that the humidification amount should not be lower than the nominal value of the product's rated humidification amount.

　　The second is the humidification efficiency. The ratio of the actual humidification amount to the input power of a humidifier, which reflects the amount of humidification that can be generated per unit power consumption, is an important indicator for measuring the performance of a humidifier. In order to guide consumers in purchasing energy-saving and environmentally friendly products and promote the development of more efficient products by various enterprises, the standard divides this indicator into four levels: A, B, C, and D.

　　The third is noise. Considering that humidifiers may be used in bedrooms, excessive noise can have a certain impact on consumers, so the standard imposes strict restrictions on noise indicators.

　　The fourth is the service life of the evaporation core (device). For direct evaporative humidifiers, the evaporator core is the component that has the greatest impact on performance. With the continuous use of humidifiers, the efficiency of the evaporation core (device) will continue to decrease, and the humidification amount will also continue to decrease. The standard stipulates that when the humidification capacity of the humidifier decreases to 50% of the initial humidification capacity, it is considered as the evaporation core failure. For replaceable evaporator cores, their service life should not be less than 1000 hours.

　　Fifth, many humidifiers have auxiliary functions such as softening water and humidity display. In order to prevent some products from misleading consumers through false advertising, the standard also puts forward specific requirements for these auxiliary functions: for water softeners, the standard stipulates that the hardness of water after softening should not exceed 100mg/L. Before the water softener fails, the total amount of softened water should not be less than 100L. For humidity display, it is stipulated that within the range of 30% to 70% relative humidity, the error of humidity display should be within ± 10% to avoid misleading consumers if the error is too large. In addition, the standard also stipulates that due to the significant impact of water level on the performance of certain humidifiers, humidifiers should have a water level protection function to prevent consumers from unknowingly leaving the humidifier in a low performance and inefficient working state for a long time.
